Chabad of Montecito was founded in 2022 by Rabbi Chaim and Mushkie Loschak based on the core teaching of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneersohn, of blessed memory, that every Jew is an integral and indispensable part of the Jewish people.
We are a center that is here to serve the Jewish community's physical and spiritual needs. To enrich Jewish life and community in Montecito by sharing the warmth and joy of Judaism through educational experiences, cultural events, and traditional services.
People of all backgrounds live in Montecito to repose, reflect, connect, and rejuvenate. They come to Chabad of Montecito for the same reasons. No Jew in Montecito should feel lonely, detached from our heritage, or uncared for.
