Meet "Michelle."

She isn't one specific person, she's a lot of people, Montecito Jews who grew up feeling disengaged from their Judaism and then found themselves at a Shabbat meal, heard a authentic conversation at Chabad, and felt their neshama (soul) come alive. We see a lot of Michelles this time of year. The High Holidays and Sukkot have a way of pulling people back who don't do much else Jewish all year, and all they need is a warm place to walk into. That place, and everything that goes into building it, is made possible by this community.
